Is any one trying to work on the new TOUCH based recovery released by Koush? That will be so cool to have.

There really isn't a reason to have it.

im not an overly huge fan of cwm, cyanogenmod makes a LOT of money off that crap. ive talked with dees_troy about getting twrp 2.0 on the echo, seems mtd needs some work, hes getting an evo and when he fixes it all up should have little to no issues using twrp on here :)

I for one have found it a bit weird to select an update.zip using the scrolling of vol+/vol- buttons, will really prefer the touch based recovery :)

so i think i did everything right, including the switch of the recovery files, so i do have root.
but whenever i try to boot into recovery, i get the kyocera screen with a solid yellow light. and it just stays that way until im forced to manually hold power so it does a normal reboot.....whats going on? did i do something wrong? :/

When running script I get to the part where it says put phone into bootloader mode, the script detects it and says to hit any key to continue. When I hit a key, causes a fatal critical error on my computer. Running 32bit XP pro. Thanks for any help.

i fixed my problem. i ended up just using the original recover.img file instead of replacing it with the 2.0. for some reason the 2.0 version wouldnt boot on my echo.
